HOW TO GET TO MILAN FROM EACH AIRPORT

There are 3 airports in Milan: the one in Malpensathat of Linate and that of Bergamo. The first two are in the vicinity of the city, while the third is farther away, just one hour away, in the beautiful city of Bergamo. It is the main airport in Milan, and the second in Italy in number of passengers. It consists of two terminals, connected by a free shutle that works 24 hours a day. It is located about 45 km from Milan, and these are the options for get to Milan from Malpensa airport:

There are continuous regional lines (called Malpensa Express) that link the T1 and T2 of the Milan Malpensa airport with the center of Milan. You will have to see which of the two stations in Milan is closer to your hotel and interests you more: Milano Centrale or Milano Cadorna.

The price of a single ticket is from 13€, they have a schedule From the airport it is from 5:25 to 23:25 (a larger schedule with Cadorna address), with a frequency of 30 minutes. It is the closest to the city, less than 10 km away, and, although formerly of some importance, most international flights moved to Malpensa, and now only manages a few of the Alitalia company. Even so, we will tell you the options to get from the Linate airport to the center of Milan.

In this case you have the possibility of taking an urban bus, cheaper but more uncomfortable, or a bus from a private company:

- Urban bus: the line 73 will take you to the Duomo of Milan itself. The frequency is 5-10 minutes and takes about 45 monutes. There is an express bus, line X73, which only makes an intermediate stop and takes less. It is called that because it is in the city of Bergamo, but its official name is Orio al Serio Airport. It is located about 50 km from Milan and is the one used by most low-cost airlines. Vemoa how to get from Bergamo airport to Milan:

It is not the easiest option, but it can be interesting. It consists of taking a urban bus from the airport to the Bergamo train station (costs € 2.30 and the journey takes 15 minutes), and from there take a regional train to the central station of Milan.

The price of the train ticket is from 5,50€, and it takes 48 minutes to arrive. The best thing is that you check the schedules on the trenitalia website and calculate the route.

Therefore the total price would be 7,80€ and the journey would last about 1 hour and a half (if you are lucky with the schedules).

It is the most comfortable way. There are three companies that offer this route, with final destination Milano Centrale, which are terravision, orioshuttle, airportbusexpress, even soon Flixbus. The prices are the same for all three and is7€ buying it there, or € 6 if you buy online (good idea if you're in a hurry). The total duration of the trip is approximately 1 hour.

Apparently in the coming months they will remove the ticket offices at the airport and you can only buy the ticket online ... Although we have a hard time believing it.
