One of the cities that has exceeded all our expectations has been the capital of Sweden. Stockholm is a modern city but it retains an impressive Old City, known as Gamla Stan. With its parks, museums, green spaces and canals, which make it one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Stockholm becomes a perfect getaway destination. 4. Tuscany in 4 days, one of the best getaways in Europe
Tuscany is for us one of the best getaways in Europe 4 or 5 days you can do. Visiting Neuschwanstein Castle is already enough reason to make a getaway to bavaria, although we must bear in mind that this whole area of southern Germany is already worth a trip. One of the airports that are closest is Munich, a city to which we can dedicate a day to visit it and that, we assure you, is worth it. 10. Switzerland in 5 days
A getaway to Switzerland never disappoints. The combination of high mountain landscapes, with lakes, waterfalls, castles and beautiful villages make it irresistible. A good way to travel a part of Switzerland is to catch a flight to Geneva and rent a car there. We can make a route visiting the Chillon Castle, Gruyeres, Freiburg, stopping one day in Bern and another day in the Interlanken area, full of lakes and dominated by large mountains, which will give us one of the most beautiful landscapes in this area. Nearby is the wonderful Lauterbrunnen Valley, one of the cherries of this getaway in Europe. We can finish the trip arriving to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland.
