In this post we will tell you 45 things you can do in Las Vegas because no, not only casinos live the city ...

Sometimes it happens to us that when we arrive at a place that (almost) nobody usually likes, we end up amazed and surprised with their hidden charms. This happened with Las Vegas: we arrived thinking that it was going to be a plastic city, where everything revolves around the casinos, an artificial madness in the middle of the desert ... and actually it was like that, only that we really liked XD

We had a great time and we would not mind extending the stay for a few days ... we even won € 15! Then we lost them, of course.

To plan your trip, check out our UNITED STATES WEST COAST GUIDE

1. Get a first idea of the city walking through its most legendary street, “The strip”, Where most casinos are located. By day it is calm and VERY hot, at night it is quite crazy and VERY hot (get used to it, you are in the desert).

2. Attend (at least) a show at the Bellagio Fountain. We saw Titanic, although with the 45 degrees they did it was difficult to enter the atmosphere.

3. Visit the Freemont Street at night and do not miss his show: "Freemont Experience".

4. Take a selfie with the “Welcome to fabulous Las Vegas”, Is one of the symbols of the city.

5. Explore the Old town, the "old" area of Las Vegas.

6. On Route 66 we fell in love with neon of the roads and the premises of the United States, because in Las Vegas there is a Museum dedicated to them: the Neon Museum. The only bad thing? Admission: $ 18

7. Step on MGM Garden Arena and fulfills one of the dreams of boxing fans.

8. Stay in a hotel-casino. We were watching a few and in the end we decided to The Linq, much more modern than most other casinos and more economical. It has a swimming pool, unbeatable location and they give you a bonus for breakfast ... come on, a success! (We found a great offer since the weekdays are usually very cheap, the weekend rises a lot, yet it is the most convenient.)

For us it is one of the best things to see and do in Las Vegas, without a doubt!

9. Play in the $ 0.01 slot machines (yes, there are XD)

10. Win ... and play it again to end up losing it, of course 😮

11. Do you know that you can see theBrooklyn bridge... without going to New York? Yes! In Las Vegas everything is possible 🙂 yes, it is much smaller than the original XD

12. Flipa with a Cirque du Solei show. In addition there are many different daily: you can choose between KÀ, Love, Zumanity, Mystère and Michael Jackson ONE for example 🙂

13. Marvel at the Pyramid of Luxor, a hotel-casino set in ancient Egypt.

14. Although for us the most successful casino is The Venetian, where it will really seem to be walking through the most romantic Italian city.

15. In casinos remember to always carry the documentation, especially if you have your -more than 21 years-well taken (Lety forgot his passport in the room and had to go back for him since a security guard did not trust that he was 32 years old XD).

16. Look for a clock inside a casino. Spoiler: you will not find it, they will do everything so that you lose track of time, and they get it. We also have a hypothesis, we believe that they put caffeine in the air so that people do not feel like going to sleep.

17. As you may have already deduced, many casinos are set in different films, cities or themes. Well, one of those casinos that deserve a visit is the Excalibur, although we did not see King Arthur.

18. Enter the tallest building in Las Vegas: the Stratosphere tower, of 350 meters. ($ 18).

19. There, if you dare, you can climb one of their 3 attractions (We anticipate that they are not suitable for those who suffer from vertigo).

20. Face front with the Eiffel Tower... oh la la!

21. Contemplate a Erupting volcano: we talk about The Mirage. And no, it's not real ... it's, of course, part of a casino!

22. It hallucinates with the number of people, including older 0_o ladies, who distribute advertising not suitable for minors, and that is that Las Vegas is the city of sin, it is known.

23. Do you like amusement parks? In the Circus, the famous themed casino, is the Adventuredrome ($ 32.95 adults, $ 18.95 children).

24. Go up to the Casino roller coaster “New York, New York" It costs $ 15 and is one of the rarest things to do in Las Vegas.

25. Another thing to see and do in Las Vegas, is to go up to Linq High Roller Coasters, the noria highest panorama in the world. You can book your tickets without a queue here.

26. Go to aATM to take out ... cupcakes 🙂 You find it here: 3545 South Las Vegas Boulevard.

27. There are endless opportunities to do shopping in Las Vegas, although if you want to find real bargains, it is best to go to the Las Vegas North Premium Outlet or the Fashion Show. Casino stores are very expensive, though, as one man said to his friend while looking at a $ 40,000 statue "still cheaper than my divorce."

28. Marry! Las Vegas is known worldwide for its fun weddings. If you consider taking the "big" step here you have info on how to get married (and the price!).

29. Are you a fan of Rome? Approach the Ceasar Palace and enjoy its atmosphere (although like Rome, none).

30. 8. And, of course, devote a day to visit the Grand Canyon, one of the most amazing places in the world. If you do not have a car and do not consider renting it, you can sign up for an organized excursion. And why not fly over the canyon?

Tired? Courage ... there are a few more things to see and do in Las Vegas!

31. Eat in Heart attack and see if you can finish your 9,000 calorie burger without suffering consequences (luckily for your heart there are less risky options). If you weigh more than 158 kg… you eat for free 😮

32. Do you know that there is the "Lasvegasian" version of Hall of Fame from Hollywood? The stars are spread along Las Vegas Boulevard, between Sahara Avenue and Russell Boulevard. You will not see all, because they have withdrawn some in recent years.

33. If you are going to be in Las Vegas for several days, a good excursion, not very well known, is that of Valley of fire.

34. By the way, if you enter the city by car, let it be with “Long live Las Vegas! ” Sounding at full volume.

35. Check out theconcerts What is there during your visit: Las Vegas is one of the places where more (and better) shows take place every day…

36. The MOB Museum (National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement) is a very interesting visit, where you will learn more about the history of the mafia in the US.

37. If you like chocolate, don't forget to visit Hershey's Chocolate World, a shop full of delicacies and that will make you gain weight instantly.

38. Speaking of things that make you fat, something that many do is buy a bond for eat in several buffets of the casinos. If you are good at eating, it may be good for you (although there are cheaper options to eat in Las Vegas)

39. Make a list of free casino shows and try to attend everyone.

40. Take an excursion to the Hoover dam, it is easily reached by car and worth it: it impresses!

41. And of course, at Death valley, one of the most famous National Parks in the United States (and the hottest, without a doubt).

42. Another perfect excursion to spend a few hours is approaching the Red rock canyon.

43. If you only have one day of time, it is best to make the most of it. How? A good idea is to take a night tour that will take you to discover the best of Las Vegas at night, when the city gets its best face.

44. Another great idea is get to know the city from above... but really tall! We suggest you get on a plane: do you dare?

45. Returns, spending a few days in this surreal “oasis” is fun and a few days of disconnection never go wrong 🙂

Here we have left you a few ideas of things to see and do in Las VegasDo you have any other suggestions? You know, leave us your comment!
