If you have thought take a day trip to Capri, you are in the right place, we will tell you everything you can See and do in Capri and all information Useful to make the most of your time.

Don't miss everything to see and do in Naples

The tour lasts about 2 hours and is one of the most recommended activities in Capri. The boats leave from Marina Grande (where ferries arrive from Naples) and costs about € 22 per person. It is better to book before. On the tour you can see Capri, its bays and caves from the sea. And obviously his celebrities faraglioni, the rocks that protrude from the sea and with peculiar shapes.

Almost all tours include a stop at the famous'Grotta Azzurra', the sea cave symbol of Capri (the entrance ticket to the cave is not included).

Capri from the water

It is one of the most magical places in Capri. The water of this sea cave, with a width of 25 meters and 60 meter depth, is a blue so vivid that it seems fake. Eye to enter, because the cave is only 1 meter high, so you will have to lie in the boat :-p

To arrive by free you will have to go to the town of Anacapri by bus (departures from the Capri bus station for just over € 1). From there take another bus to the Grotta Azzurra (same price). It's time to get in line to get on a boat (for 4 people) that will take you to the cave (upon payment of the € 13 ticket).

The visit to the cave lasts about 5 minutes and the best time to see it is between 12 and 14.

  • Price: € 13 per person.
  • Tip: it is a good idea to wear a hat or cap, as queues sometimes form to enter and you have to wait for the sun. It is better to find out about the sea conditions: if there is sea moved sometimes the cave is closed.
  • Tip2: it is possible that the cave is closed by the state of the sea, inform you before!

Grotta Azzurra in Capri

The climb to Monte Solaro (589 meters), from where there are some of the best views of Capri ('faraglioni' included!), Lasts 12 minutes: 12 minutes in which you will seem to be flying!

  • Price: € 10 i / v (€ 7 one way).
  • Hours: 09.30-17.30h.

Views of the island of Capri from Mount Solaro

Beautiful and ultra chic, the historic center of Capri is an essential stop! To get here from Marina Grande it is best to take the cable car (€ 1.80). The famous Piazza Umberto I (or “piazzetta”) Capri is the center of the island, always lively and full of people. Here contemplate the clock tower, the church of San Stefano and many exclusive restaurants and boutiques. And wander, of course, the main streets Where we recommend to go are Via Vittorio Emanuelle, Via Croce and Camelle.

Capri Casitas

From the center of Capri you can take some walks to very cool places on the island. One of them are the Giardini di Augusto (€ 2), from where you have the famous panorama on the cliff and its faraglioni. And of the Via Krupp, an ancient Roman road that zigzags down the slope.

If you feel like walking, you can reach the Villa Jovis (a hike of ascent, entrance € 2), a Roman villa that belonged to Tiberius from where there are spectacular views (the villa itself is no big deal) and before arriving there is the Astarita Park (free). On the way down there are indications towards a Naturale Arch, an interesting rock arch (half an hour walk).
