Day 7: SALT LAKE CITY - THE COLORADO VALLEY AND SCENIC 128 - ARCHES NATIONAL PARK - MOAB

Today we had to get up early, we left the Motel 6 in Lehi around 6 in the morning with the idea of starting another of the great days of this trip to the West Coast of the United States.
As we have been doing these past days, we have stopped at a gas station to buy our breakfast and go ready to taste it in some viewpoint that we find along the way.
The Journey from Lehi to Arches is about 5 hours, although we will make an intermediate visit before arriving at Arches National Park: The Colorado Valley by Scenic View.
What can we tell you about this area of the Western USA, it is impressive, very difficult to describe only with words. The road goes into the Colorado River, showing us various landscapes.

Going by rental car allows us to stop as many times as we need to take photos and rest and when we come to realize we are already in Moab, ready to enter the Arches National Park, the icing of today, as yesterday was the Grand Tetón National Park.
Seeing that noon has been thrown on us we prefer to eat in the car a picnic before entering and about 1 o'clock we are already on our way to the first arches, symbol of Arches.

It is a National Park of Arches is quite "small" and without getting too tired you can see many important arches from the viewpoints that are accessed by car.
Despite that we do not hesitate to make a couple of trails in Arches National Park to see some of the arches that cannot be seen from the road and are some of the most important.

One of the ones that impresses us the most is the Double arch, an immense double arch that reminds us how small we are in the face of a nature that in this trip is showing in all its splendor. We will not get tired of saying that this trip is one of those trips that we will never forget.

After seeing the Double arch We follow another path, very easy to reach the arch known as Windows. What can we say about this one? Decidedly as spectacular or more than the rest we have seen and it is impossible to make comparisons on these things.

One of the most important and best known trails is the one that leads to Delicate Arch, perhaps the most famous arch of the park, but we decided not to do it since this one is a little longer and today we are not just left over minutes. We see it from a little further than it would be usual, having a perfect perspective of this area of the park.

Road to Delicate Arch
After making a complete tour we leave the Arches National Park to arrive at our hotel, the Inca Inn Motel, around 7 pm and the first thing we do after leaving the backpacks is to go to dinner at an Italian restaurant where we load forces.
Very good, located at the end of the village road on the left, we dined like kings.
Today I go to sleep soon tomorrow tomorrow comes early. How we like to be traveling!
