PREPARATIONS TRAVEL TO TURIN

While it is true that every year we try to travel to Italy, one of our favorite countries, and this year could not be less and in the end this custom or need we have ended up tripling it. First with the getaway we made to Rome in a weekend, then with a trip to Lake Como in 4 days, for now in November, return for the third time this year to Italy ...

... with this trip to Turin in 3 days.

We will fly on November 18 from Barcelona to Turin, with one of the offers we publish in Best Flight, first thing in the morning, arriving in Turin in the morning, where thanks to the Grand Hotel Sitea, we will stay during this trip in the center Historical city.

The idea is to start getting to know the city the same day, focusing on places very close to the hotel such as the Via Roma that we want to know both day and night, Piazza San Carlo, visit San Filippo Neri Church, Piazza Carignano and the Palazzo Carignano, Piazza Carlo Alberto, the Subalpine Gallery, the Teatro Regio, Piazza Castello and see the Palaccio Madama and the Royal Palace.

Palazzo Carignano

The second day of trip to Turin We will dedicate it completely to continue visiting the city, with a rather ambitious planning, but we hope to be able to comply if time and rhythm allow us.

Early in the morning we plan to spend some time at the Porta Palazzo Ballet Market, the Europe's largest outdoor market, which is celebrated on Saturdays and is a symbol of Turin and then go to the Quadrilatero Romano and the Sanctuary of the Consolata, one of the visits that we do not want to miss in the city. In this part of the day, if we have time, we have planned a visit to the Museo della Sindone to see the replica of the Holy Savannah, and then approach to have a new experience, see Turin from the heights in the Turin Eye, where we have planned the Ascent at 11 in the morning.

After this experience, the idea is to approach the Cathedral of Turin and the Church of San Lorenzo, two visits that we hope to do before noon and thus end the second morning of this Trip to Turin.

Church of San Lorenzo. Trip to Turin

In the afternoon we will visit the Museum of Cinema, one of the most recognized museums in the city and we will go up in the Mole Antonelliano Elevator, and then we will approach the Vittorio Veneto Square, where we will surely return at night, since we have been told that It is one of the areas with more atmosphere in the city, such as Vía Po and Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I, from where there are incredible views of the Church of the Great Mother of God.
And how could it be otherwise, we will enjoy the sunset at the Mirador Monte dei Cappucini, from where we will have the best views of Turin with the Alps in the background.

The third and last day of this trip to Turin, where we have the flight first thing at night, so we can enjoy almost all day in the city, starting the day at the Egyptian Museum, where we will be some hours, to then approach the Parco Valentino and end the day at the Automobile Museum, another of the Turin museums that have strongly recommended that we not get lost.
